And so it begins again, and the great wheel keeps turning...

Been a while, to anyone whose been reading me. I spent 2 years at my previous location (well just shy of two years) and I've decided it's time for a change. A change of what you ask, he's using the same layout and service provider. Well I like this layout and service provider, it's me that needed a change.

That's right folks, though we're loathe to admit it we change who we are once in a while. Myself? Well I've made the transition from university student to aspiring High School English teacher, I've returned to writing for pleasure after a year plus hiatus, most importantly I've become a father to a beautiful little girl, and I've become engaged (something I never thought I'd do until I met my 'baby-momma'). That said I figured it's time I put the past behind me and started fresh. Danger still befalls them, and I'm still an asshole; I'm just a new, fresh asshole with blockrockin' beats!

Anyway, I'm wrapping up my student teaching this week. Wednesday's my last day and then I join the ranks of hungry substitute. You'd think I could, but I really can't wait! After years of being "a kid" this is the last requirement to fullfill my petition for some respect as a professional. That and moving out of my dad's house, but that's a money/space issue (due to schooling and pregnancy niether I nor my partner have had an income for some time).

I gave a test on Lord of the Flies yesterday, I've forgotten how good that book is. I hated it in High School but now that I can enjoy it dispite students best efforst to the contrary it's quite intriguing. Anyway one student showed up drunk. I considered involving the school police officer but his subsequent failure and future need to repeat Grade 12 is punishment enough.

My laptop is sitll in the shop. Dispite the fact that they told me two weeks ago it was on it's way back from the manufacturer now I'm told it hasn't got to the manufacturer yet. Yippe. So eventually I will be able to access my projects again and finish something.

I'm considering starting up 'Meet Bill...' again. Anyone not in the now that was my ersatz webcomic back in my CBU days. Made some scratch selling it to the school paper. This time it will be handdrawn and a little mroe of a story but still messed up. We'll see if I get around to it. Maybe come February.
